I paid a setup fee, then had to apologise to my own prospects

I paid a setup fee for outbound calling on behalf of my business. What I got back was worse than nothing. The calls that went out did not sound like my company. Two people I had been building a relationship with for months came back to me annoyed about the approach and the claims made on the call. I spent the following week apologising to my own contacts. When I asked for my money back I was told the service had been delivered as agreed. Then my messages stopped getting through at all. Separately, a friend of mine applied for what looked like an actual job with them and ended up being sold paid closer training instead. That told me a lot.
